I am a Kelantanese and while the recipe is the closest I think you could find in making a Kelantanese Ayam Percik, that pic is unfortunately not Ayam Percik at all.

I think that pic is of common grilled chicken, often sold outside Kelantan by non-Kelantanese with misleading labels of " Ayam Percik ". As u can see, no gravy on the chicken when it should be drenched with it ...

Btw, true Ayam Percik is anything but spicy ...
